wk.7-14 quest. #1
1) The first principle of nonverbal communication is how the communication between group members impacts the quality of relationships. For example, when group members are collectively talking and responding to each others concerns, some members may ignore a person from the group. This lack of attention may have a deeper meaning to behind the particular persons actions. Maybe they dislike the member, maybe they have had a private argument earlier. Never the less, when a group member publicly ignores another member in the group the two members and the rest of the group’s relationship suffers. Another nonverbal principle is how our nonverbal communication is always more likely to be believed. Actions speak louder then words....so true, when members in a group for example don’t participate in a groups discussion, their actions are perceived as not interested, even though they may be interested.
